Sarah Luca
Sarah Luca is an urbanist and community builder who served as chair of the board of Jane’s Walk, the global movement of free, community-led walking conversations inspired by the work and ideas of Jane Jacobs. Her involvement reflects a belief in walking as a way of understanding cities from the ground up—bringing people together to observe, question, share local knowledge, and experience familiar places through one another’s eyes. On The Sidewalk Ballet, Sarah joined the conversation to talk about Jane’s Walk and how a simple idea rooted in one city became a global practice shaped by thousands of individual communities.
