Chelsea Ritter-Soronen
Chelsea Ritter-Soronen is a multidisciplinary visual artist, public art consultant, and small business owner whose work explores how art can transform the experience of public space. She is the founder and principal artist of Ground Shift Studio, a mural company specializing in pavement art, and brings a background in theater production and design to her work in the built environment. An advocate for equitable and enjoyable public spaces, Chelsea is particularly interested in bringing artists more directly into planning and design conversations—and in the role public art can play as both an expression of community and a catalyst for positive social change.
