Charlotte Massey

Charlotte Massey is a community builder, entrepreneur, and Executive Director of the Seattle chapter of the U.S. Chamber of Connection, where she is helping develop the organization’s first city-based model for strengthening social connection, belonging, and trust. Her work focuses on creating opportunities for people—particularly newcomers—to form meaningful relationships through shared experiences, neighborhood activities, and civic life.

Before joining the Chamber of Connection, Massey co-founded the outdoor apparel company Gnara and built a Seattle community of more than 1,300 people around gatherings including picnics, crafts, and other shared experiences. At the Chamber, that interest in connection has expanded into city-scale initiatives such as Best Day Ever, which uses neighborhood exploration, service, storytelling, shared meals, and local businesses to bring Seattle residents together across differences.
