Effortless City
Effortless City creates inclusive neighborhood and sidewalk guides designed around a simple idea: knowing where you want to go isn’t enough—you also need to know what it will take to get there. Designed for walkers, rollers, and strollers, its guides document the details conventional maps often leave out, including steps, ramps, sidewalk conditions, terrain, restrooms, and potential obstacles. A color-coded system helps people understand the level of effort required block by block and choose routes and destinations that work for their own abilities, energy, and circumstances.
Alongside its sidewalk guides, Effortless City highlights local businesses, music, events, and other neighborhood experiences. The result is less a conventional accessibility map than a tool for making exploration itself more accessible—giving more people the information they need to navigate a city with confidence and spontaneity.
